“Cortazar´s work is extensive and plural: he published very little poetry; only a play, but he wrote four novels, a lot of tales and a big collection of difficult classification texts set in a very peculiar field; among the essay, the poetry and the narrative. They are faithful to Cortazar´s idea of the world. He was also a translator; a great one, and made lots of works. First of all, I have to declare that to do this anthology we have taken into account Cortazar´s tales; without underestimating his other texts but leaving them aside as the structure of his work or; at least its core is completed by the tales (…)”. An anthology, any anthology; even the best one, is not anything else but an arbitrary and limited election of the author´s wisdom. Even being like this, there are anthologies which have got scientific and omniscient wishes. It is not the case of this anthology. This is a whimsical anthology, as it has been written pure and simply under the author´s approach. Jon Alonso
