The American dream which accompanied the optimism of American generations seemed to become a nightmare on 11th September, 2003 and it has disappeared since then because of an obstinate and chaotic reality. However, the case is that since the United States appeared before the world after the 2nd World War; as both, a militar power and an economic or even a moral one, it has not done anything else but to imbue into a descending spiral under the service of its own capitalist logic. In this book, the author wonders the role of the American critical intellectuality. He introduces the priorities in the field of the political ethics and makes a reflection about a necessary alternative which can canalize the structural corruption which threatens the Empire and; in addition, the world itself.
