The great Sancho. Sancho Gartzes was appointed as king a thousand years ago, in winter 1004 when he was only 12 years old. He was the king in Iruñea, Aragon, Castilla, Sobrarbe, Ribagortza and Gaskonia. He used to live in a confusing era, especially when he became king, but in the course of time he achieved to establish peace in his reign although it had to be through weapons, fines and marriages. They named him the great Sancho because he was a great king; the greatest king the Vascons have ever had. Over 12 years old.
