It is a classic of the Basque bibliography. It is a book which was written in exile and published in Buenos Aires, in 1945 by EKIN; a publishing house of the Basque republican exile. It will be published for the first time thanks to the collaboration between EKIN and Txalaparta publishing house. The book was written by Manuel Irujo during his stay in London, where he could devote part of his time to analyse in the rich English files all the relationship between that country and Basque people. That allowed the Navarrese politician to carry out a documented Basque history, from the old days to the statutory wars which caused the loss of the privileges; wars in which England had an outstanding role.
