Jesus Lezaun has been one of the most important ethical and religious references of Navarre. His career coincided with that of the prophet Ezekiel, a charismatic leader and believer, friend of the people and scathing critic against the moral decadence and arrogance of power. It is part of the generation of Navarrean religious who broke with political and religious structures of Franco; in exchange, those and their followers offered a new Christian commitment. Lezaun’s figure, therefore, has been relegated and his voice silenced. In La afonía de Ezekiel Castor Olcoz interviews with his friend Jesus. Through a warm and smooth dialogue, the reader will discover the personality of the theologian Lezaun, a key figure to understand the situation of the Church after Vatican Council II, or the changes in Navarre in the last decades.
