After the collapse of 'real socialism', the gurus of capitalism declared the "end of history" and its final victory. The 'West' capitalist, neo-liberal and globalist, seemed eternal and invincible. However, on horseback between two centuries and giving way to a new millennium, another shine of hope was springing up from the bowels of the South in the world: the Bolivarian Revolution. Under the leadership of Hugo Chávez, the Venezuelan people dreamed of storming the heaven again. This book is a vision of the Venezuelan revolutionary process, of the collective work that millions of anonymous men and women build with their hands every day, with excitement and hope, with their miseries and their virtues. People power, self-working, anti-imperialism and universal right to education and health are part of the complex mosaic called "Socialism of the XXI Century".
