On January 1, 1959, when Fidel Castro entered Havana in triumph, it was opened a period of enormous significance and political, economical and social development, which marked a turning point in Latin American history and on the left in general. The Cuban Revolution has completed five decades of continuous currently going through a thousand obstacles to counteract the ongoing U.S. imperialism. It has undoubtedly been one of the greatest epics of the twentieth century. Taking advantage of this anniversary as noted, it was necessary a work, which has been done through a brief history of the revolution and its current dilemmas, to approach us to this spectacular event. The result is this synthesis, a little gem that makes us the revolution at hand.
