Jaun´s legend. It is a Basque medieval tale with dialogues which constitutes a song to the land and all the people who lived around Bidasoa. The main character hero; who was born in the bosom of a family as old as Larrun Mountain, is a courageous warrior who represents the essence of the Basque man from a radical Baroja´s point of view. In this original and colourful story, he emphasizes and looks round at the closest things, at an old country full of humour and knowledge. At the same time, he gives the voice to Jaun, who criticizes all the bad things that religion caused in some villages where nature and life in community implied happy, austere and; perhaps, imaginary times.
