11th March 2004 will remain in our memory for the tragedy in Madrid, which caused hundreds of dead and injured people on the railways but also for the scandal of the big lie which Jose María Aznar´s Government plotted to distract his responsibility in the bomb attack origin. When Aznar took his oath of office, he also sweared that he would give back the former splendour, its glory of an old empire and a great power to its country. He became Bush´s ally, connected Spain to History and immediately two hundred people were thrown into the air torn into pieces. In his task of sorcerer´s apprentice, Aznar realised which forces he was playing with too late and he did not have a better excuse than pointing with his finger at the neighbour: "it has been that one". Napoleón said that propaganda was the another nerve, together with the military machine of the war. Aznar; trapped in an unexpected battle front directed the another nerve against Basque people in a warlike operation which fortunately also backfired on him.
