It is the story of a twofold love. On the one hand, the love Lucia feels for a man, and on the other, the love towards the Basque country, to which both belong, and whose shadowy fate is going to mark this couple's relationship with the seal of tragedy. Everything is going well until the cruelly repressed by Franco rebellion in Asturias announced the beginning of a catastrophe that will have no end. The two main characters are plunged into a political whirl that does not mean to calm down, even after Franco's death. Lucia does not give up in view of that event; her dogged pursuit of happiness is constantly encouraged and her will to live resist the slow and irresistible rise of the strength of death. Marie José Basurco throws his characters to the ocean waves of history, interweaving the intimate and the public feelings, the tenacious pursuit of happiness and the roar of the heartbreaking event.
