Basque people in the rtf Madrid. It is a testimony written in first person by a person who; being in the rearguard in Madrid, lived and militated the difficult vicissitudes of the republican capital city during that difficult period which took place since November, 1936 to May, 1937. Supporting himself on his diary, notes and documents; Jesús Galíndez, who was the person in charge of the Prisoners and Missing people and who also worked for the Basque Government, gives us some data and events with an extraordinary objectivity. These data and events are intercalated with different episodes of great humanity and touching stories, typical of such a battle at that point of time.
