It is said with a certain realism that Brazil is not a country but almost a continent. There, the figures and statistics are useful to show the evil contrast of the wild capitalism which Latinoamerica suffers from. In this setting, the appearance of The ones deprived of land Movement cannot be seen as a simple protest expression, but as a fact tremendously revolutionary.
