The gay dictionary. The gay dictionary is basically a collection of words and expressions. It is the compilation of that special way of speaking that the Basque gays and bisexual people have got when we speak to each other in the Basque Country. But it is not only that; it is also a register of the new words in the Basque language which are created and used by the gay people in this country. Apart from words, in this dictionary we also find those claims made by those collectives which work for those homosexual people, the gay movement slogans and books and films which have been shot. Besides, the way of speaking of lesbian and tran-sexual people has also been gathered. They have been allowed to speak about their world in this dictionary.
