This story is a song in honour to the Basque tenacity; to the giving of a life if it is necessary, for a bet, for a life ideal. In 1900, being fifteen years old, Guillermo Larregui had left Errotxapea neighbourhood in Pamplona heading to America. He was already forty-nine years old when he bet the challenge of going from Patagonia to Buenos Aires with a wheelbarrow; on the whole, 3.400 kilometres are nothing for a Basque man who has given his word. It was his first journey. Then, fourteen years followed pulling his wheelbarrow and having a reputation of popularity and acknowledgement. From the Iguazú waterfalls, where he stayed to rest forever, Larregui continues reminding us that with a great will, Basque people can carry out whatever they want. Living free, for instance.
