Roberto Arlt was born in Buenos Aires; on 26th April, 1900 and nowadays he is considered as one of the best Argentinean writers in the 20th century. He has written four novels: The broken toy, The seven mad people, The flamethrower and The wizard love. He has also written seven different plays; among which we should underline the following ones: Three hundred millions, Saverio, The cruel person and The iron party. In spite of the quality of the above mentioned plays, Arlt became famous due to the more than two thousand journalistic notes he left written in The world Argentinean newspaper. He died in 1942, a day before his last article was published
