Cecilia Arrozarena Uribe. She was born in La Habana. She is a bachelor of French language and literature. As a narrator, she has published a wide spread novel entitled Failed exam. As a poetess, apart from the sounds of the old and the new verse on the island, she has included in her repertory the songs Haika mutil by Mikel Laboa, Habanera, by Xabier Lete, Zure haidürü, by Pier Paul Berzaitz and 37 galdera mugaz bestalde dudan kontaktu bakarrari by Ruper Ordorika; which sound in a strange way in the tropical atmosphere. This is her first essay.
