Eugenio Aguirre. Eugenio Aguirre, - a writer of Basque origin- was born in Mexico DF in 1944. He is a lawyer, the contributor of different cultural publications and has been the president of the Mexican Writers Association from 1984 to 1986. He has written a total of forty-one books from which thirty-eight have already been translated into English, French, German, Portuguese and Macedonian. Among his works, the following novels outstand: The swords knight , Gonzalo Guerrero, The murmur which came from the sea, Blood steps and Love of my loves.
