Xanti Begiristain was born on January 23rd in 1958, on the hill of Anezkar, in a taxi travelling to Pamplona. He grew up in Behiko Borda, in Etxarri. He did his elementary studies in in Etxarri and in Lekunberri he went to high school and went to college in Irunea. He has worked in AEK as well as in the public school system. At the moment he is a teacher of Euskera in a Basque language school. He has written articles for newspapers and this is his first book.
